When I went to grandpas house he had one ice cream bucket full of lead based paint toys to play with and otherwise we went for days completely unsupervised in the outdoors. Times have changed. 🤣

@EclecticMethod @Carl_Vibe Same! Dad had a two seater ex post van so I had no choice but to sit on a carpet in the back with the camping stuff. Also; I'm in Zagreb right now and apparently it's legal to smoke inside or something so that's another nostalgic thing I can't do as an adult in London.

@VectorMeldrew Yeah, I've never really got that. NFTs seem like such a good system for artists to receiving funding and recurring revenue whilst de-risking patronage (incentivising, even). Again, too long for Twitter but it seems to me to be the "killer app" for smart contract chains.

@VectorMeldrew I think so, yeah. By the way perhaps closer to home I've thought about (and worked on) issues of artist funding/income off and on since 2006. Too nuanced for a tweet, but I every solution always seems to converge to a blockchain with smart contracts. I find that interesting.

@0xJof Well you can't decentralize the financial system without a viable money alternative, and neither of these are it.... that could be the first problem that needs solving.
