7/ We are performing our latest assessment of alternative execution clients and will have more to share on that process and our next steps by the end of February.
To sum up, we take client diversity very seriously, have made some good progress, and are striving to improve it.
4/ Alternative execution clients have come a long way, and so we are conducting an updated technical assessment with the goal of adding another execution client to our infrastructure.
@iamllanero@Subli_Defi We are working on a subgraph to display this. Right now, the best comparison would probably be to look at uCVX at the end of an epoch.
@Subli_Defi@iamllanero Pirex easy mode streams rewards over 2 weeks. So the current yield actually was from the last epoch. The rewards for this epoch will be streamed over the next 2 weeks. Also 1 pxCVX is always redeemable for 1 CVX (minus fees).
@iamllanero Extremely interesting mate. I'm very surprised about Pirex esay mode that it gets so less than union, because pirex easy mode is using Union on the strategy.
And would be good to see how much pxCVX is worth CVX, i understood there was a slight cut out.
@iamllanero For Pirex easy mode, the rewards stream over a 2 week period so unlike Votium / Union where you get all your rewards at one time, you'll be picking up more pxCVX over this epoch in easy mode.
4/ For the $CVX maxi, all three of these protocols are interesting. At the outset, they may appear to be competitive, but in my use, I'm starting to think of them as enabling different strategies. Let's see what happens after round 25 in two weeks!
@Alehinjo_eth@0xdmonty The Votium Rewards points references pxCVX in standard mode. In std mode, i.e., holding just pxCVX, you can claim Votium rewards for your pxCVX for a much smaller fee since you aren't paying the autocompounder fees. (4% bribe fee + staking fee which is best in class)
@0xdmonty Actually, Badger has a similar votium type of system that works basically the exact same except they remove pools that have small liquidity on ethereum/L2s or something along those lines. They wouldn't have voted for something like Luna because it would have to be bridged
@0Ngmi@0xdmonty@CurveCap The difference is that Pirex fully autocompounds -- i.e., in uCVX (pxCVX autocompounder) all you get is CVX. In bveCVX you get a number of rewards. So it just depends whether you want only CVX exposure or if you want to diversify into Badger + CVX.
