DAOBase has been acquired, and I’ve stepped down from the leadership team — in fact, transitioned out a few months already. Looking back over the past few years, it truly has been a journey. I went through the chaotic excitement of the NFT boom, the metaverse and GameFi wave, and witnessed crypto evolve from pure digital assets and payments into something much closer to mainstream adoption. I was fortunate to work with incredible projects like The Sandbox, Nike, YGG, BigTime, Paris Hilton, the Trump family, and many others. Watching them grow was rewarding, and it also inspired us to build DAOBase — a data infrastructure and tooling layer we hoped could push the industry forward. Today, DAOBase holds one of the largest DAO datasets. But as I look toward broader horizons, especially the rise of AI, I’ve come to realize that real mass adoption happens where technology truly serves people. Products should create value for humans — not just market caps, narratives, or capital games. I’ve felt this way for a while, and with regulations tightening across the board, it feels like the right moment to act. This journey has taught me a lot about what I want, what I can do, and what I cannot. I’ve been incredibly lucky to meet many talented, generous mentors and friends… and I’ve also seen my fair share of the darker sides of human nature. Both shaped me. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who supported me along the way. Now this chapter comes to a close. Bye for now — I will start my next charpter for sure. Even national voting 🇺🇸 faces so many challenges, so it’s understandable when issues arise in project governance too 🤔. When people and interests mix together, things naturally get complicated. People don’t always seek what benefits the whole ; they seek what benefits themselves , right? Which party will win? 🤯
