I can’t overstate how much crypto twitter has fallen off
Partially because of the bear market
But more importantly because the value of followers is trending towards 0
Someone with 100k followers will get 2k views if their tweet isn’t about the current trend or “optimized” with AI
My timeline is rarely people I actually follow, and if god forbid I search something, my timeline will be littered with anything related to it for the next hour
The worst part is you don’t even know what to optimize for other than clickbait and quote tweeting
On any other platform - if you post a video that has good analytics, it will 100% get pushed to more people
On X it will be completely random
It’s going to drive creators away, incentivize slop, and make the platform less appealing
There’s a lot of good on X still regardless, but it’s not what it used to be

Find myself spending less and less time here. Crypto content has basically gone to 0. Most crypto accounts have switched to normieslop or techslop or claude-written articles that are 700 words of empty nothingness about something random. Barely ever see my friends’ posts because of all the constant algo changes, and there’s always some random person in my replies asking if a screenshot of a trade setup is an undisclosed shill 💀 Overall just an utterly terrible user experience. This place was awesome 6 months ago (and even last month wasn’t too bad), but the last few weeks on here have been almost unusable

My take on OpenSea delaying their TGE:
I have a decent amount of historical volume and participated in the first few farming waves.
Obviously, I'd prefer $SEA to TGE under good market conditions and at a high FDV.
The question is whether delaying the TGE actually helps achieve that.
Historically, the answer seems to be no, market conditions might improve, but project-specific sentiment often doesn't.
That said, I understand the logic.
You only get one shot at your TGE, so you want everything to be as close to perfect as possible.
The real issue isn't the delay now, it's that the TGE didn’t happen in late 2025.
Opensea first announced $SEA in August if I'm not mistaken.
BTC was at all-time highs, perfect market conditions, and instead of launching, OpenSea chose to run multiple farming seasons to capture market share.
Which makes sense from a business perspective, but the ideal TGE window is always short and easy to miss
