ABOUT SENTIENT DISCORD ROLES Hello my @SentientAGI friends. I haven't been able to post for the past few days due to the disappointment I've experienced with Discord role upgrades. There were even moments when I was truly shocked by the process. Let me tell you about my wife’s and my journey in the Sentient project with data. Then I’ll share the voices of my friends from the community. First of all, when we started this project, we frequently asked our local moderator the question: “Can a person who works very hard and puts in above average effort today get the Sentient AGI role?” At the time and repeatedly afterward, we were told that hardworking contributors could get the Sentient AGI role. So my wife and I started working very hard. Now I want to share with you our display that is, our portfolio that we painstakingly prepared for days... Please read this all the way through; this message is written for everyone in the community who, like us, worked hard and ended up disappointed. Also, this is by no means intended to be disrespectful to the Sentient project or team. On the contrary, our reason for speaking up is the trust we have in them. By sharing our portfolios, we aim to show the real effort behind them. Throughout the process, I shared Sentient content with ~99% consistency. I acted as an Educator-Helper. My wife started on August 9 and remained consistent throughout. 📌 In the last 3 months alone, I’ve contributed to the community with over 12,000+ Twitter comments. In total, this number is 15,000+. My wife made around 23,000+ comments in 3 months and a total of over 30,000. 📌 I produced 151 Sentient contents with over 210,000+ views. None were bot-generated. My wife had 150 contents and 223,000+ views, also all organic. 📌 My wife was among the Educator champions in the September Spotlight. One of my Educator contents was selected as a successful entry in Week 10. 📌 I made many community videos that were appreciated. With my wife’s idea, we wrote the Sentient logo, Dobby, and SENTIENT on our home wall as a family which shows how deeply we embraced Sentient. 📌 We saw a need and organized a Twitter Space broadcast with our beloved community manager @shad_haq. Shad kindly joined, and the community loved it. Despite all odds, it lasted about 2.5 hours and was an effort for the community. Without Shad’s acceptance, it wouldn’t have happened but we organized, wanted, and succeeded. Huge thanks again to Shad. 📌 With our little son, we also tried to show our artistic side with a few drawings. 📌 Even though I had no coding experience, I built 2 Sentient apps. My goal was to improve as a Builder. 📌 We created 100+ visuals to make our content more enjoyable and readable. Even if they were AI-assisted, we spent a lot of effort. We worked hard to ensure each post had quality and promoted Sentient better. 📌 We attended 40+ community and team Space-AMA sessions only the ones we added to our portfolio. 📌 We attended 45+ Discord events (and probably forgot many more). My wife joined some while trying to put our 2 year old son to sleep. 📌 Since the beginning, we supported the project through @ethos_network, voted and commented on ROMA-ODS, and gave frequent feedback via Sentient Chat. 📌 Through Twitter, Telegram, and Discord, we introduced many people to Sentient and supported them. Especially in my wife’s DMs, 30+ people still have Sentient-related questions. Many even shared those conversations. I could go on, but I want to get back to the point. Our sole goal throughout this journey was to earn the Sentient AGI role. We worked very hard and put in serious time and effort even sacrificing time with our young son. So I ask you now: Didn’t we truly embrace Sentient? Didn’t we deserve the Sentient AGI role? I sincerely congratulate everyone who earned a role. Just put yourself in our place where does this much effort belong? Now let’s talk about others in the community who are just as disappointed and heartbroken. I know many from my local community. I might forget a few. I’ll also mention someone from the global community whose hard work I’ve noticed. My goal here is not “let us get the role we deserve.” It’s so our whole community can be heard. We aim to respectfully bring our voices to the valued Sentient team. Because we know Sentient is a great project, and the community stood by it until the end. We trust that you won’t let us down.
