@capy_onchain @variational_io fair point about the rwa expansion but $1b is still a huge milestone to hit. just hope the points don't get too diluted by q3 if everyone starts jumping in now. we'll see if the volume actually backs up the valuation
English

@0xValentyn @variational_io Not sure bro, imo after the latest update where more than 100 RWA markets will be launched, even a $1B FDV might start looking small. Variational is in no way inferior to Lighter, and soon it will start outperforming it in all metrics
English

$35-40 per point feels realistic for @variational_io
I decided to estimate what point valuation we could realistically expect at TGE in Q3 this year (since that’s when all 9M points should finally be farmed).
Based on this scenario, we probably have around 3-5 months of farming left.
By autumn, I personally expect a strong growing market and Variational launching somewhere around a $1-1.2B FDV.
Me and many people I know are currently farming points with around a $2-4 cost basis.
That’s roughly a 10-20x on farming costs alone.
Don’t miss the opportunity and start farming now while it’s still worth it.

A lot of people were also delaying farming Lighter back then.
In the end, they only farmed a few x’s, while those who started at the right time made life-changing money.
Is your laziness really worth missing that kind of opportunity?

The price of @extendedapp points is now $0.67
Now think about it:
even people farming at $1 per point and telling themselves it was “cheap” now have a very real chance of not even breaking even.
The market is not sparing anyone.
Perp valuations keep getting crushed lower and lower, and this is exactly why farming everything in sight is a losing strategy.
Reassess the perps you’re working.
Cut your farm list down to 2-4 projects max - the ones you actually believe in the most.
A lot of these perps simply won’t survive this year.
Some will pause operations, some will slowly bleed into irrelevance, and some will never justify the time and capital people put into them.
What you choose to farm now matters more than ever.
Thoughts?

@capy_onchain @edgeX_exchange good job with creating your own platform, keep it up

If a perp can’t generate fees, how strong is the business really?
Cumulative fees are one of the cleanest metrics in perp rankings because they show actual monetization over time, not just temporary volume spikes.
Here’s the current picture:
@edgeX_exchange - $283M
@extendedapp - $20.8M
@ostium - $19M
@paradex - $17.5M
@BasedOneX - $15.1M
@tradexyz - $13.8M
@nadoHQ - $10.5M
@reya_xyz - $3M
@tread_fi - $2.8M
@etherealdex - $2.2M
@Dreamcash - $2.1M
@StandX_Official - $1.7M
@BullpenFi - $0.5M

Of course, fees alone do not define the best perp.
But ignoring them in a tier list makes no sense.
What would your perp tier list look like based on this?

how do twitter replies the right way (imho)
who we’re writing them to
in most cases, you want to reach out to a “smart” person who will support you and help you grow in the long run
but the bitter truth is that most likely it will end with just a follow
you must build your army of reply guys
ideally, you should split your replies by percentage, based on who you’re interacting with.
for example:
- 20% “smarts” in your niche
- 40% bros small and medium accounts
- 40% new people you haven’t interacted with before, not your followers
it’s important to always maintain consistent engagement on your posts and onboard new audiences. this formula will ensure growth
but I’ve personally been less active because of the reason I already mentioned
and don’t forget: without quality content, you won’t get a follow from a “smart” account or a regular follower
