Of course that’s your contention. You just got finished reading some bearish thread, probably from that guy who got rekt on $DOGE. You’re gonna be convinced of that ‘til next week when you see the yoyo work, and then you’re gonna be talking about how the dynamic tax structure actually protects holders. That’s gonna last until you realize the post-sale tax creates buying pressure. “It’s just extracting fees to buy overpriced Punks.” You got that from skimming the docs, right? Yeah, I read that too. Were you gonna copy-paste the whole FUD thread for us? Do you have any thoughts of your own on this matter? Or is that your thing? You come into a space, repeat some surface-level take about high fees, and pretend you understand the tokenomics? See the sad thing about a guy like you is you’re gonna be sitting on the sidelines in fifty days and you’re gonna come up with the fact that there’s one certainty: You faded it because you coulda’ spent twenty minutes reading the contract on Etherscan instead of just repeating “high fees bad.”

Looking at Punk Strategy, and I just don't see how it's worthwhile. I get that punks are expensive, so it’s nice to find a way to get exposure without buying a whole one… and $pnkstr is sort of punk exposure, just not the best way of doing it, and definitely not comparable to something like MSTR despite hi-jacking the "strategy" vibe. PNKSTR started by putting up some ETH and buying punks. Now, you’re buying in and hoping the “trading flywheel” pays you. To me, it just looks like a complicated way for the founders to make money - at the expense of investors - in all but the most specific market conditions. First, I realize the token price has done quite well in the last couple weeks. It is new and garnering attention, and that price increase isn't bc the model is earning IMO but because new ETH is coming in to buy the token. If the same amount of ETH came in to simply buy punks, it would be even better. I think if punks either do well or don't do well (in ETH terms) over idk say a 2-5yr time horizon, pnkstr likely underperforms just buying and holding. If the market is very sideways chop (with 20% up and down moves), then pnkstr might outperform holding. But even then, the team is taking 20% of every transaction. That’s just too high.. a lot of ETH being siphoned out of the ecosystem. Why pay that for punk exposure? This isn’t an SPV charging 2/20 to access an otherwise illiquid private asset. Why the f*** would you give PNKSTR 20% for this? It's not that complicated to get punk exposure, just expensive. Pnkstr isn't the answer.

@0xfoobar You're forgetting all of the people without $200k to spend on an onchain JPEG that also want exposure to the asset class. Also, the smart contract unlike yourself, isn't emotional it just buys punks with the fees it obtains.

Incredible technology Before you had to pay $200k for a punk Now you can pay $200k for fractionalized pseudo-ownership of 0.014 of a punk in a smart contract that may or may not work
