Binance Blockchain Week 2025 in Dubai Celo’s presentation shows 3.1 million active USERS, which, according to their infographic, beats Tron, Ethereum, and Solana. Interesting, right? And these are all users interacting with $USDT. Personally, I stopped using Tron about two years ago and switched to Arbitrum. Does anyone actually know somebody who uses @Celo? The thing is, these guys are focused on mobile use and partner with Valora and MiniPay, targeting Africa, Latin America, and Asia. You might not see these users or know them, but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Honestly, it caught me by surprise. Ah, right, at the bottom of the slide it says "Confidential," like we're not supposed to show this to anyone, huh?

I know how much conviction it takes to abandon code you've worked for years to write... Celo started as an L1 to prioritize UX, but once Ethereum had shipped features like account abstraction, they made the decisive move to rebase & spend less time on infra and more time growing
