I’ve always wanted to build a job board and have bought many domains, but most of them expired without a landing page. This product is probably my first that I consider among my best. It’s not because it’s a “job board”, but because of the engineering behind it, the system design and build pipeline. Let’s see if it can survive the test of time, wish me luck 🤞🏽

Two apps went live, and two more are in review. I was dreaming about these days for years, built lots of stuff, and ended June with $210 (first ever month as an indie dev). What a great time to be a builder! My next goal is to be AI subscription-positive 🤣

personal update: i've decided to leave @met_engine co-founded it 18 months ago as something we built for ourselves, and grew it into a product with 10k+ users and $114M+ volume processed. raised our pre-seed along the way it was an intense and rewarding run. shipped fast, broke things, sat with users, and learned what it actually takes to go from an idea to a live product with users. grateful to my co-founders, the team, and everyone who backed us as for what's next, i'm open to new opportunities. looking for a technical, customer-facing role where i can build and work closely with the people using it. so if you're building something interesting in crypto or AI, my DMs are open 🫡

@birk @polar_sh I am a current user but few reasons if I will move will be * extended downtime, Polar had few last month. * Fee, I am okay with payment processing fee but then there are payout fees, international fees and currency conversions fee. All these adds up, there are options in market

I'm bullish on open source AI. Was paying $15/month for a popular AI voice to text tool. But switched to an open source one where you download the model to your computer, and everything is done locally. It's better, faster, more private, and it's free! I wonder what other subscriptions I can get rid of?

@damonchen @nikhilgohil11 @WisprFlow You can completely avoid Wishpr subscription with cadence.minilabs.cc one time purchase! Comes with Nvidia Parakeet v3 in the app. I won't say it can compete with Whisper, but dictation is smooth. I had absolutely zero issues with dictations. It comes with a free trial.

Building is easy, but building something good is hard. Selling products is the hardest. This is the age of builders who can sell.
