Man, I actually woke up feeling decent today and I’m blaming @sleepagotchi Been using it for a couple weeks now and my little dino is straight up leveling up as I get better sleep. The coach part is cool it doesn’t just show you a score and ghost you, it gives real suggestions that fit my messy schedule, like when to actually wind down or tweak my routine. The part I like most is that I own my sleep data instead of it getting sold off somewhere. Makes the whole thing feel less creepy. Been noticing I have more steady energy during the day too. When I first came across @sixsevenapp, I expected to spend most of my time judging the features. Instead, the first thing that caught my attention was how active the community had become in such a short time. Each time I return, there seem to be new faces, fresh discussions, and people sharing their experiences with different parts of the app. That steady increase in activity is hard to ignore. I'm not saying that a growing community automatically means the project will succeed. There are still plenty of questions that only time can answer. What stands out is that the interest feels genuine. People aren't just showing up once they're participating, interacting, and giving the platform a reason to stay lively. That's the kind of early momentum I like to watch, and it's definitely one of the reasons @sixsevenapp has stayed on my radar.

We're rolling out a small tweak to boost visibility of your posts to your mutuals (people who you follow back). We noticed this data was missing from the algo and it made your friends appear less in your replies. This resulted in the reply section feeling more like a battleground with people you don't recognize. This should also help clusters form around interests more easily, which many people have asked for.

people have become used to treating health data as something companies own by default. that mindset deserves to change. your sleep patterns have real value because they reveal long term behavioral insights that businesses are already willing to pay for. the question is whether users should remain invisible in that exchange. that’s why @sleepagotchi caught my attention. it pushes a future where individuals have a greater role in how their sleep data creates value, instead of being passive sources of it. if that vision keeps expanding, $sleep could become an important part of a much bigger conversation around data ownership.
