Before founding @surgence_io, I joined an Australian startup called Neara almost 8 years ago as one of the first hires and became a GTM / Product Owner. Now they're a $1B+ AI unicorn (Yay, Equity!). They're hiring a Marketing Manager. Arguably one of the most insane AI companies right now. They build photorealistic 3D models of global infrastructure (power grids, railways, data centers). Operators fly through these worlds, simulate disasters, prevent failures before they happen. A few lessons: 1. Don't fade Web2. Some of the strongest companies being built are infrastructure plays solving trillion-dollar problems. 2. The rocket ship quote is real. Early equity in fundamentally strong businesses compounds. Don't fuss over what position you take. 3. Do both. Build Web2 capital, take Web3 risk. One funds the other! If you're genuinely qualified and interested in this role, you can find my recent post on LinkedIn with the application link and can answer any questions. IMO, they have good probabilities of reaching $10B+ valuation; at these levels, valuations become volatile. Thankfully, my equity was vested, heh.
