I loved this interview of @LukeEpplin by @BeautyOfAGame. The cover of #TenCentBeerNight is a nod to the '73 Topps card, one of my favorites (it would have been nice to use '74, the year of TCBN, but that card is a bit boring compared to '73). A college pal of mine drew it.🍻

@10CentBeer My favorite Lowenstein story is still when he was involved in the spring training games that used Charlie Finley's orange baseballs. A lot of players didn't like them, since they couldn't track the spin, but Lowenstein didn't mind. "I'm colorblind," he said.

It had to be #JohnLowenstein. One of the wonderful characters of the '74 Tribe tied the game in the 9th at 5-5. "That's the only time I ever hit a sacrifice fly and raced for the dugout," he said. If he hadn't #TenCentBeerNight may have never happened. Soon, all hell broke loose.
