@alicekeeler Guest teaching is hard. Thank you for being there for the teacher and kids. When I taught I would leave a Glow & Grow sheet for the sub to fill out. Always find a glow and a grow but please don’t say “everything went great” if it didn’t!

My daughter had her first day substitute teaching yesterday (2nd grade). She felt like a failure and was stressed about what to leave in the note. What advice do you have for the note at the end of the day? (By the way, she did not fail, she did a great job. Impostor syndrome is real... and your first time doing anything is a learning curve! Any tips she would greatly appreciate).

Today I did something incredibly hard—I announced my retirement. What’s next? Not entirely sure. But I know it includes a deep love for education, a flexible calendar, and a lot of soccer. I’m learning It’s okay to love what you do and choose a chapter that fits your life⚽️💚

One of the best parts of the year was seeing my son Henry get a Varsity letter for soccer as a Freshman. Twin boys, two paths, one passion. He is truly an amazing kid.

It is frustrating when you scroll down and lose track of your column headers. Go to the View menu then select Freeze and choose 1 row. Now you can see your headers no matter how far down you scroll. #GoogleSheets #GoogleWorkspace #GoogleEDU
