@Uncanny_Harry Wow, you really pulled me in to both the relationship between mother and son and some foreshadowing. This is great! I want more!

I had to abandon this short due to a lack of time, but will hopefully return to it in the future. Though it worth sharing as it shows where we are in terms of making a conventional film with with AI. It's from a script I wrote over 15 years ago but never made. This was put together with @Kling_ai @dreamina_ai @Magnific_AI and @topazlabs
English

@henrydaubrez I'm working on a hands-on educational event with machine cinema. I open with a clip from the Junkyard King (thank you!) and discussion of process - "how we make key frames." Right now, I think key frames sit at the intersection of idea and story. Defining the next agentic wave
English

It’s funny.
Last few days, besides the few morons saying I was lying about something I have absolutely no reason to lie about, a lot of you also told me:
“Don’t share your process, they’ll rob you blind.”
I hear you, and thanks for the concern, but if you’re clinging to workflows right now, you’re clinging to straws.
I’m not saying I want to give away everything I spend hours and money figuring out, but the reality is that processes don’t stick.
The tech moves too fast.
Every project I’ve done so far used different tools, different tricks, different bugs, different approaches.
What you learn today has an expiration date, and that’s fine.
The one thing I actually trust is what I learned about storytelling this past year by releasing multiple short films.
Traditional filmmaking makes it hard to keep producing fast, often, and at decent quality.
Working with AI let me fail faster, and learn faster.
I also trust my taste.
Not because it’s for everyone, but because it’s mine.
Between storytelling, taste, and vision, I’m betting that matters more than any workflow that will be obsolete by the time I finish writing this.
Why do you think so many people farm engagement or sell “secret workflows”?
Because they know those workflows won’t last.
The value is in the moment, not in the method.
Trust yourself.
Your voice lasts longer than your tools.

@phillip_isola @sainingxie Hmm. What forces the thicket structure? From comp Neuro it makes me think of the pressure from that an inhibitory predictive model could be used to de-correlate the known redundant shared output. Any intuition about mutli-headed attention pushing similarly?
English

Sharing “Neural Thickets”. We find:
In large models, the neighborhood around pretrained weights can become dense with task-improving solutions.
In this regime, post-training can be easy; even random guessing works

@NealWiser @cerspense Neal- if you want to play around, would love feedback : 10zebra.app/t/three-acts
English

@cerspense This is the fourth post I’ve seen today where people are showing various interface solutions to AI film production workflows built with AI. I can’t wait to get my hands on these tools. Weavy and FreePik Spaces are great, but we need to take the next step.

This is what directing an AI creative studio looks like.
I gave my orchestration system a reference image and had it deploy three different interpretations across three machines running Blender simultaneously, all visible from a single dashboard.
When one direction looks promising, I branch from it. The system copies the files to the other machines and keeps exploring from that new starting point. Branch, direct, branch again. Each split opens up a new creative path while I give notes in real-time.
The number of creative directions I can explore simultaneously is only limited by how many computers I have.

@pt5films @henrydaubrez I'm happy to give you a tour. (DM me) Our platform is live but it's a work in progress adapting to the changing landscape. Since both primary lead and community engage with AI, I think a key part is how much control to cede and constraint to impose on your community.
English

@10zebra_app @henrydaubrez That's a great way to put it. The "one primary lead plus community" and one person with "narrative authority" sounds like it could definitely be the model of the future.
English

@henrydaubrez I think I remember this character from your earlier tests! And the glowing sprite is a theme too. So your familiar spaces and themes, and the logic of the magic in your world gets to grow along your own journey. Even across different tools / models. (E.g. Seedance)
English

@henrydaubrez @pt5films I am actually very interested in the small team approach. Or "one primary lead plus community". I think of it as "asymmetric collaboration" where there is clarity that one person holds narrative authority, and there is a clear contract for participation.
English

@pt5films I mean…kinda provocating a little here too :) I think a little team can go a long way but it definitely feels we will eventually go a long way with a fraction of the necessary team
English

@theXoCillian I like your characters for the show. Any interest in collaborating? We set up mashups between two different creator worlds.
English

I grew up on TGIF.
Full House. Family Matters. The Hughleys.
Recurring characters you actually cared about.
So I decided to bring that energy back, but in my own weird animated way.
Meet The Rechargables
A dysfunctional family of walking batteries just trying to stay charged, and out of trouble.
Inspired by classic TGIF vibes, complete with recurring characters, layered jokes, and sitcom-style energy. A 5-minute sitcom for the AI generation!
This is Episode One. It's title 'Fast Charge'
And yes, the Triplets are going to be a problem.
Yes, Aardvale is smarter than everyone.
Yes, Grandpa will complain and remain stubborn about everything.
This is gonna be an ongoing series.
More episodes on the regular.
