I've seen it hundreds of times. Things top on euphoria. Experience matters in trading/investing. You get burned enough, you start to learn. Big money loves the hype because it gives them exit liquidity. They know what is coming for the economy and that this is as good as it gets for $NVDA, as other semi company's are building chips as fast as they can to get in on the profits. Will kill margins in a yr. Incredible market reversal.

Everyone is too focused on actual 2Q #s. $TSLA has beat on Adj EPS in 8 of past 10 earnings reports, but $TSLA stock has gone down in 6 of those 10 earnings reports. Reasons: low quality beats, weak guidance or sell-the-news. Invest long term.

It’s offensive to artists to say that “anything can be art”. Art is a skillful craft honed over a lifetime of intense studying and training. This skill shouldn’t be taken for granted. There’s good art and bad attempts at art. Through art education the difference is quite obvious.

$TSLA is not a high P/E stock at $277/2024 EPS $5.40 = 51x P/E. A high P/E stock is one that has negative earnings for the foreseeable future.

In a rising rate environment, a concentrated portfolio of lower P/E growth names will likely perform better than a concentrated portfolio of higher P/E growth names. As int rates head lower, the opposite is likely true.

Elon confirmed CT delivs would start in 4Q. Elon confirmed two next gen $25-$30K EVs with 5M vol. Elon signaled advertising is coming which will accelerate EV adoption. TSLA convinced Treasury to allow a full $7,500 EV credit on M-3. China vols have remained strong. TSLA closed new charging deals with both $F and $GM. And Fed will almost certainly pause int rate hikes next week. Markets look forward not backward and discount future events into stock prices.

Morgan Stanley (Jonas $200), Deutsche (Rosner $200), Goldman (Delaney $185). PT changes should reflect changes in earnings ests or future growth rates to be credible and shouldn’t just follow price. On the other hand WS analysts with Buy ratings and PTs below the current price look dumb to clients.
