This is Balata refugee camp in Nablus, West Bank. 100% under Palestinian Authority. Street divides between the city and camp. Palestinians in camps have no rights from PA & can’t even buy house in the street across. Why is there still refugees under PA if it’s their own state?

@RashidaTlaib Rashida, If Israel were a Muslim majority country you and @IlhanMN would hold it up as a beacon of democracy and reference it as a shining light which all its neighbours should aspire to copy. But it isn't. So you demonise it. I don't think it is the Israelis who are the racists.

This is right of course. I don't know how India's move will play out but I am certain that when Israel applies its law to Judea and Samaria, the move will do more than anything in the past 30 years to stabilize the situation and advance Palestinian and Israeli civil rights.

India's annexation today of Jammu & Kashmir (actually, just fully applying regular Indian law to region) has gotten a fraction of the int'l attention that mere Israeli discussions about doing same in parts of Judea & Samaria, although the former a much bigger deal.
