Bands from across Scotland gathered in Glasgow for the BB Scottish Bands Contest on 28 March, and we were delighted to be part of the competition. Boys performed exceptionally well, taking home two national novice shields plus the Glasgow Battalion bugle band trophy. #BoysBrigade

Our Bugle Band returned to the national contest for the first time in several years this morning. A strong performance saw them take two national novice shields and the Battalion bugle band trophy. Next band outing: Our Annual Inspection & Display on May 15th! #BBadventure

Junior Section win the Partick District Figure Marching Competition last night! 🏆👏 A great performance after weeks of hard work - adding to their recent Glasgow Battalion title! Well done to all taking part, including 135th Glasgow & 5th Glasgow BB! #BBadventure

It just about stayed dry enough for our second Church Parade of the session at Broomhill Hyndland Parish Church. The Bugle Band played Hood, Alexandra and Old Number One at the march past, with members of the church, family and friends watching.Thanks to everyone who joined us.

Congratulations to our Juniors who marched into action today at the Figure Marching competition hosted by @TheBBGlasgow & BB Paisley. After hard work perfecting their turns and timing, the boys lifted 1st place in the Glasgow event & marched home with 2nd overall! #BBadventure

There were high-octane thrills aplenty when boys paid a visit to the TeamSport @karting track in Clydebank for an evening of racing. Admittedly, some of the wheel-to-wheel action more closely resembled the dodgems, but everyone had a good time nonetheless. #BoysBrigade

Anchor Boys & Junior Section wrapped up warm last Friday when they took to the slopes for an evening of tubing at Bearsden Ski Centre. Plenty of bravery was on display as boys made the most of the slippery conditions whilst leaders & parents did their best to stave off the cold.

Anchors & Juniors latest adventure arrived tonight in the shape of a tube… that you hurtle down a ski slope on! A great evening where our boys had brilliant fun slide after slide! Some pics from tonight - with a video to follow in the near future! #broomhill #BBadventure

Our first Church Parade of the session took place in chilly, but bright & sunny conditions at Broomhill Hyndland Parish Church. The Bugle Band did a great job at the march past, playing Sousa, Georgia & Robin Hood. Thanks to everyone who attended and made it a memorable occasion.

As part of Remembrance Day worship at Broomhill Hyndland Church, our lead bugler Stewart Gray played the Last Post and Reveille. The Company wasn’t on parade today but we look forward to joining worship next Sunday, followed by a march past. #BBadventure #RemembranceSunday

Our Anchor & Junior Sections had a fantastic evening tonight when Cool Creatures came to visit! Boys had the chance to meet an amazing range of animals, including a meerkat, armadillo, millipede, tortoise, and snake. #broomhill #jordanhill #glasgowwestend #bbadventure

Inspired by Europe’s Ryder Cup team, boys visited @TopGolf Glasgow to see how their own skills measured up. Thankfully, the atmosphere was a bit less intense in Rutherglen than in Bethpage, and boys enjoyed it whether it was their first time swinging a club or not. #BoysBrigade

The Great BB Bake Off came to the 130th on Friday when boys fought it out to see who could make the best banana bread. Not too many showstoppers but a few star bakers did a decent job, even if the washing up took longer than the baking.

⚽️ While Scotland played, the real action was at Scotstoun! Our Junior Section joined the Partick District 5-a-side football with 7 teams, 40 boys & 104 goals scored. 🥉 Our team finished 3rd - with bronze medals all round! 👏 #bbadventure #glasgowwestend
