@1337_jay @BahmanPasha @thsottiaux If a turn finishes while out of 5h messages and the goal tries to start the next turn, the goal will block itself. Not an issue if the run is long enough. But I've taught Codex to collect its own meter data (quota usage is queryable somewhere in the desktop app) and pace itself.

@kr0der 5hour limit is the problem, not weekly. Try using 5.6 Sol on Max/Ultra for some agentic coding and research, you will burn the 5h in 1hour or less and be left with plenty of weekly.

i'm confused why everyone's saying GPT 5.6 Sol eats up all your limits quickly i'm using Sol medium and i've got all of this running for over an hour and i haven't even used 15% of my weekly limit on the $200 plan: - 2 chats running to finish off 2 mobile apps + configure everything in app store connect + make app store screenshots - a /goal porting a whole website into a mobile app - a whole game being built in Unity (only running for ~15 min so far) just don't use fast mode, it's like 3x the price for 1.5x speed and 5.6 Sol is already fast af the usage limits are extremely good, for reference i used up my Fable 5 weekly limit in 1-2 days 💀

@1337_jay @thsottiaux I think it's all necessary to keep the system going. If everyone just went mental for their whole weekly limit over a few days they wouldn't be able to cope is my guess. One day inference will be cheap and abundant.. not yet

@rednech_ai @thsottiaux Exactly. With 5.6 Sol max/ultra you baiscally have to setup goals for every task as that works even if the 5hr limit runs out but its quite annoying.

@1337_jay @thsottiaux Yeah, 5hr is killing me. I think it's time to end this 5hr limit, I was just asking myself what the point of it is. If I want to burn through my weekly usage in 12 hours, what is the problem?
