Having run a fairly big national comp of my own for five years, you make mistakes, you learn from them and you try and ignore the comments from people who wouldn't have a clue how to go about it. If you don't like it, don't watch it.

Seeing a lot of negativity towards the Seniors, maybe more down to a WC hangover than anything else but personal opinion, it's taken blood, sweat and tears to get it to where it is now. Channel 5 coverage from The Crucible, do you have any idea how hard that is to secure? 🧵🧵

This feels like a Netflix Doc in waiting. At what point do defeated players have a collective case to sue? Because it feels like they should.

This edition of the World Seniors Championship gets stranger. After everything that went on yesterday, it must be noted that for the Ken Doherty v Gerard Greene respotted black, they didn't use the Shot Clock. Now today for this one they have.

@Nick_Metcalfe as far as I know, in Germany, you have to decide whether you’d rather participate in the regular or seniors championship

I’m not massively fancying a snooker debate right now.
But I find myself feeling duty bound to say I don’t think Ronnie O’Sullivan should play in the Seniors.
Various top snooker people disagree with me and that’s fine too.
But it doesn’t feel in the spirit of the event to me.

As a fan, you cannot support a spot for the seniors “champion” in the Champ of Champs this year, can you? 😅 #snooker #147sf

Seniors world champs results should be null and void. Time fouls not called. Matches moved behind closed doors to players feeling heartbroken at the treatment they have received, and then immediately being expected to play clear headed snooker. Unacceptable. Unprofessional.

Stephen Hendry thinks the World Championship should stay in Sheffield when it takes place away from the Crucible in 2029.
Hendry: 'Because of the commitment, financial and everything to do this, I think it would be a bit cruel to take it away from Sheffield.'
