Thank you to the 148th Fighter Wing for the briefing and tour – and thank you for always being ready to protect our nation.

The @148FW will deploy more than 300 Airmen and its F-16 aircraft overseas to conduct U.S. Air Forces Central Command missions in the U.S. Central Command this spring.

The @148FW will conduct night flying December 6-19, 2021. Residents in Northern Minnesota, Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan may hear our F-16 aircraft taking off, flying and landing.  All jets will be on the ground by 10:00pm.

The @148FW will conduct night flying Oct. 25 thru Nov. 5, 2021.  Residents near the 148th Fighter Wing and in Northern Minnesota may hear aircraft taking off, flying and landing.  All jets will be on the ground by 10:00pm.

The @148FW will be night flying June 21-24, 2021. Residents near the 148th & northern Minnesota may hear jets taking off, flying & landing. All jets will be on the ground by midnight.

The @MNNationalGuard supported security missions in Brooklyn Center, Minneapolis and St. Paul last night. Just over 2,000 Guardsmen are on duty to assist local authorities in maintaining peace, with more service members coming on duty over the next few days.

The @MNNationalGuard will provide a company of Soldiers to support presidential inauguration activities. This week more than 130 Soldiers from B Troop, 1-94th Cavalry and Airmen from the @148FW will report to Washington D.C. in support of assignments for the inauguration.

The 148th Fighter Wing will be conducting a readiness exercise Oct 23-25. Area residents may hear increased flying 7am to midnight Fri & Sat, 7am to 5pm Sun. .
