Here's what the polls actually said, yesterday:
Trump's net approval hit a new second-term low of -18.9. Among U.S. adults: -20.6. Nearly half of Americansm, 48%, strongly disapprove.
The "excellent" poll is almost certainly Rasmussen or Trafalgar. The only firms consistently showing him above water. Every other pollster has him at his worst numbers of the term.
Calling the one poll that likes you "excellent poll numbers" is a very specific kind of math.
