@14obrien14 Speaking as someone who has a child in primary school, has friends that have secondary school kids, and who's wife is a TA in a school, I can happily tell you that belief you have is absolute nonsense in the extreme, and offensive to school staff and the vast majority.

Schools breaking up for summer they taking the piss scrap the summer holidays get back to work bin of the October half-term to get them back to school straight through till Xmas
