#Peterborough City Council Local Elections are on May 7th This is my #Stanground South vision if I am elected as an Independent. This Ward has been really let down-by the party jumping misfits - so I'm running as an Independent. It will be a rough old campaign as I'm hunting down all the Brown envelopes and really crazy contracts adding to the City debt pile. And I want firm assurances over the future of the Beer Festival! Put the footy ground in the hole that is The Station Quarter! Simply private investment for offices, isn't happening! So come and help me rescue #Peterborough from the pirates who have run up the debt mountain! Finally, if elected expect proper local Councillor Surgeries to be conducted on a monthly basis. Confidential one to one conversations to resolve any issues you may have with faceless officialdom. I am very wary of reports that the UK is now within range of Iranian ballistic missiles. But if the reports are true, let’s be in no doubt: the UK has no defences against such missiles. No dedicated national ballistic missile defence (BMD) system for intercepting intermediate- or intercontinental-range threats aimed at the homeland. No ground-based interceptors (like US THAAD or Patriot systems in Europe) deployed in Britain for this purpose. In theory our T-45 warships could provide some cover. But most are currently undeployable or not in UK waters. Leaving us defenceless from ballistic missile attack. Another massive military failure of the political class of all recent governments.

To those saying it will take years to get new oil & gas out the North Sea… It won’t. 👉 Jackdaw - can be producing gas in 3 months. 👉 Rosebank - can be producing oil in the autumn. Miliband just needs to approve them. Everyday he waits, the further away this supply gets.
