I don't recall saying that the apostle's deeds were irrelevant. In fact, their greatest deeds were to write Scripture and spread the Gospel. It seems like you're against something that I didn't say, or even imply. But in your position, I guess that's easier than responding substantively to the things that I've been saying about the sufficiency and supremacy of Scripture, etc. Oh well. :)

Biographies are great, helpful, and encouraging. But Christians are only bound by inspired, certain, certified true revelation from God, that which is God-breathed, not subject to the errors and wickedness of man, bc only it is "inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness..." The traditions God wants us to continue have been enscripturated and prescribed in the Scripture He calls "adequate to equip us for every good work." Nothing is lacking there.
