As it's #internationalcatday we thought we're share this 'Woman in Garden with Cats' photo from our archive. Taken from a glass negative dating from around the 1890's the cats have moved during the exposure giving them a ghostly quality. #museumcats #mewseum

Apologies for the graphic photo but the depravity needs to be shown. Fox cub, snared and shot. The floppy ears are indicative of dehydration so this baby will have been trapped for a while. This is what the cunteryside hides in its dark underbelly. Filthy scum.

@friendofthefox @UKChange Signed, beautiful misunderstood birds 🐦 .I must have rescued probably close to a hundred. My favourite being my one eyed boy...Charlie he was hit by a sparrow hawk as a baby and was completely scalped and sadly lost an eye.This never affected him. Went on to live 16 happy years.

We couldn’t all go sab the mink hunt today. Some of us stayed local and checked on local wildlife. We regularly check on our gorgeous feral pigeons in the High St to ensure they’re not trapped in netting or injured. Saw some beautiful poseurs

GREAT news however for the cameras. Terrible what these poor animals have to endure at night. My local beauty spot has been targeted by badger baiters. Horrendous.
