Daniel Levy from 2001 to 2017 was, for me unquestionably, one of the best chairmen in football. Ran Spurs exactly the way a football club of that size ought to have been.
2018 to present a different story and it’s, belatedly, the right time for change. Foundations are all there.

@1882pod If Spurs had a proper transfer strategy and targeted players earlier in the window, there wouldn’t be a need to panic buy near the end of windows.

Maybe a hot take, I’d rather we didn’t sign a LW if we didn’t think we could get the right player in rather than panic buy.
I know you may think that Lookman (e.g) is, but if Frank and the recruitment team don’t then I’ll rather develop Odebert/ Tel and try again next window

@HotspurRelated The first part of this is misleading. I have not written anywhere that ‘Tottenham signing any more players is unlikely’. Reported that frank suggested no striker and getting a defender has so far proved difficult.
