Today I was pleased to join @henrymcmaster, @LindseyGrahamSC, and other state and local officials to break ground on the new Lake Marion I-95 bridge.   This project will make travel across Lake Marion safer and more efficient, while also delivering potable water to Clarendon County and adding a new trail for people to enjoy.   This bridge would not have been possible without a $175M grant from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law signed by President Biden in 2021.

Senior Makahla Riley, a business management major from Huntsville, Alabama, is one of seven recipients of the Black-Tie Scholarship to be recognized at this year's event.
