@miffythegamer Trans women out of women's spaces. It's not hard to understand. The hubris to invade women's private spaces without asking. Women have said no, as they have for centuries. You will have to create your own spaces.

@Theleftorwright Statistics show that trans women are safe in mens private spaces. Women are not safe with trans men in women's private spaces. Women have said no. It was hubris to invade women's spaces without their permission. You need to create your own spaces.

@JennaFights4You 1/ Respectfully Jenna, this whole debacle was self inflicted. Trans persons have been with us forever. Trans persons are to be treated respectfully. Trans persons invading women's sports fields, locker rooms and prisons is relatively new. 10 years or so. No one asked women if

What is craziest about this whole situation is that all of the people cheering this on don't give a single fuck about women's sports whatsoever. You'd think with this much press attention paid to it and public focus, women's sports would dominate in the ratings. For example, I'm a huge WNBA fan. I have been since 2005. Nobody gave a shit about the WNBA until Caitlyn Clark was drafted, and in particular, when she took a few rough shots from veteran players. Then all of these people who've never thought about the WNBA in the past, suddenly have a passionate stance on the sport. The truth is that they don't give a shit about the sport, about the fairness of the sport, or the integrity of the sport. It's just an easy means for bad-faith actors to launder in their narrative. I wish people could see it as easily as I do. thepinknews.com/2026/03/26/oly…

@Perhapanaut @nyaraVT 2/ that. We're not. Clearly. Trans persons have had decades of acceptance before the invasion. Trans persons need to create their own spaces. Barging in to women's spaces was rude and will not be tolerated. This was self inflicted. Be well.

Transphobia is a tool to legislate people’s bodily autonomy away and reduce women to reproductive purposes. It enforces gender norms and gives abusive people the ability to harass women who don’t perform femininity for them. It’s an invasion of privacy disguised as protection.
Nadia Whittome MP@NadiaWhittomeMP

Efforts to narrow the definition of womanhood, police people’s gender expression, and reduce people to their biology don't protect women - they harm us. Attacks on trans rights should never be done in our name. We must stand in solidarity with our trans siblings.

@napoleon21st @hopes_revenge Seattle is great and the Sound is unlike anything in the U.S. However the Northern Oregon coast, Columbia Gorge, Mt Hood, and Wine Country all within 90 minutes of PDX is literally world class. Traffic is a bit easier to deal with in most parts of PDX, too.

Idaho just passed the most extreme transgender discrimination bill in the nation — requiring all patrons to use the restroom associated with their sex assigned at birth. So can anyone explain to me how it’s going to work when these trans men walk into the women’s restroom?

I hate how successfully transphobes have managed to demonize trans women in women's sports, even the thought of it. I just want to fulfill one of my girlhood transition dreams of playing on a women's team. Just experience being one of the girls on a team. Cìs people steal fucking everything from us and dictate what we can and can't do. I fucking hate it.

The only trans athlete photo Ben Fordham Live could find was a trans athlete who came dead last at the Olympic Games. Trans women athletes have not won a single one of the 7,500 Olympic medals that were awarded since 2003, when trans women were first eligible to compete at the Olympic Games. Not even a solitary relay or team bronze medal has been won by a trans woman athlete. If Kirsty and the International Olympic Committee genuinely prioritised protecting women's sports, they would allocate 50% of Olympic funding to women's sports and dedicate more resources to investigating doping & sex offenders, which is a widespread issue in female sports. youtu.be/B8CzqxhZk7I?si…

This is a huge win for women's sport. The International Olympic Committee has banned trans-athletes from female events. The rule comes into effect for the 2028 Olympic games. Listen to the details HERE. 🎧omny.fm/shows/ben-ford…🎧

My son died. I know he didn't contribute anything to mankind — he was only two months old — but I like to believe he was destined to do something good for humanity. It's been a while since his death, and I hate to dwell on it so publicly, but I wanted you to know him.

12-year-old female athletes spreading their legs all over the world while getting their labia and pubic hair measured and their clitorises poked. All this as a prerequisite to ride a bike or run around a track or swim a lap No man has even been detected in one of these previously banned sex tests. But women that have given birth have been banned and had their Olympic medals stripped, others have attempted suicide. @Peter_Fitz @Qveen_Potato @TraceyLeeHolmes @IndiaWilloughby

The @iocmedia are believing pseudoscience and breaching international human rights laws by implementing this policy. Even the geneticist that discovered the SRY gene is embarrassed they are using this gene to determine either sex or athletic performance. insidethegames.biz/articles/karka… These tests are actually illegal in many countries. Australian law makes these regulations illegal on several grounds. & The performance science does not support a blanket ban. The @UIC admitted recently in a Brussels court that they did not have the evidence to show trans women on GAHT have a performance advantage over non trans women. google.com/url?sa=i&sourc… (Brand New Research Supports Inclusion)~ systematic review with meta-analysis ‘the most comprehensive’ synthesis to date (52 studies & 6485 participants) found trans women do not exhibit significant differences in upper or lower body strength or max oxygen consumption relative to c1s women. bjsm.bmj.com/content/60/3/1… These regulations won't last 5 minutes in an Australian or European human rights court. Advantage cannot be assumed. There are over 250 genetic variations among athletes that can enhance athletic performance. In the academic literature these genetic variations are referred to as “performance enhancing polymorphisms” or “PEPs.” A PEP is a variation in the DNA sequence that is associated with improved athletic performance. For example, variations in mitrochondrial DNA have been associated with greater endurance capacity and greater mitochondrial density in muscles. Other PEPs are associated with blood flow or muscle structure. These variations have proven to have a significant impact on athletic ability, unlike the SRY Gene, bone or lung size or endogenous testosterone levels in transgender or intersex women I am talking to legal council now. I feel a duty to prove the @iocmedia wrong. sbs.com.au/news/article/a…

@SestraHulk JK Rowling is simply protecting women's safe spaces. A view held by 80% of citizens on this planet. Why do men believe women should roll over and give up our trophies, locker rooms, prisons, rape crisis centers to trans women? No one asked us before giving them up. God bless JK

J.K. Rowling says HBO's #HarryPotter series "is going to be incredible" after the first trailer drops: "I’m so happy with it." Twenty minutes earlier, Rowling celebrated the Olympics' decision to ban transgender women from competing in women’s events by writing: “Today’s ruling by the IOC means a welcome return to fair sport for women and girls, but I’ll never forget the scandal of Paris 2024, when people who consider themselves supremely virtuous and progressive publicly cheered on men punching women.” Rowling was referring to the Olympics decision to allow Algeria’s Imane Khelif to compete in the women’s boxing competition at the Paris 2024 summer games, one year after Khelif was disqualified from the Women’s World Championships for failing a gender eligibility test due to elevated levels of testosterone in her system. Rowling denounced the Olympics at the time. Khelif was born female. variety.com/2026/tv/news/j…

This is me at the Powerlifting Worlds in 2023 lifting 507lbs. It took me years of training to achieve that and I still didn't medal, I got 4th place. Little did I know one month later I would be suspended for 2 years by my federation for speaking up about men competing in the womens category and that a man would walk in and pull a 578lb deadlift and crush womens records. He still holds records in Alberta to this day I can only hope that with the Olympics announcement today that the Canadian government will follow suit and demand federations to protect the female category Alberta has already started. Sports are separated by sex Sports are about integrity, fairness and safety. It is time we do the right thing and stop punishing those who speak up. @ABDanielleSmith @PierrePoilievre @xx_xyathletics @icons_women @Riley_Gaines_

@daniellismore This is in your statement:"Because once rights are separated and treated as negotiable for one group, they become easier to challenge for others." What do you say to women who do not want penises in our locker rooms, prisons and sports fields? You are obliterating our rights!

Some people keep saying LGB should separate from the rest of the community. That is not a neutral position. It is a political one. The LGBTQIA+ community did not appear as separate letters by accident. It formed through shared struggle. The same laws, the same policing, the same stigma and the same public hostility have been used against people who are gay, trans, bisexual and gender diverse. These histories are intertwined. Attempts to separate them ignore that reality. You cannot remove one part without weakening the whole. Rights have never been won in isolation. Progress has come from collective pressure, not fragmentation. When one group is singled out and treated as an exception, it creates a precedent that can be used against others. This is already visible. In the UK, there are political voices arguing for changes that would affect same sex marriage. In the United States, there are active legal and political campaigns challenging existing protections. Many of the same networks and figures involved in opposition to trans rights are also involved in wider campaigns that affect reproductive rights and broader civil liberties. That overlap is not incidental. It reflects a wider ideological position on bodies, identity and personal autonomy. Recent reporting about the former EHRC chair supporting amendments related to abortion access adds to those concerns. It raises legitimate questions about how consistent the commitment to human rights has been and whether different groups have been treated equally. This is why division is not a solution. Framing the issue as LGB versus the rest of the community misrepresents what is actually happening. It shifts attention away from the broader pattern of rights being challenged across multiple areas at once. The more accurate question is this. If the same political actors are involved in opposing trans rights, questioning reproductive rights and engaging in debates that touch on same sex protections, what is the long term direction of that movement. That is the issue that deserves attention. Because once rights are separated and treated as negotiable for one group, they become easier to challenge for others. If you are part of this community, do not fall for it. No matter how it is presented, no matter how it is framed, division is not protection. It is the beginning of your own rights being negotiated away. The community exists as a collective for a reason.
