She is invested in students, teachers, and staff. She visits schools in CCSD, like ours in North Las Vegas, several times to support us. She’s invested.

@ITeachHuffles I’ve been on every @cceanv post for months about how they’re going to screw over teachers and I was accused of being Jara’s burner account. Well I was right. New hires with the same education will make $20k more than my spouse. Can’t explain the anger. 😡

@deepNVoperative I don’t know you Anna, but you are correct. I’ve been a teacher for a long time. I work in the NW part of the valley this year and I get text messages from old colleagues talking about striking and calling it “work actions”. It’s all the same.

This isn’t a joke. The job is to educate children. You want parents to support you but then you do this to them and the children. Pretty low. Go ask your union why they paid millions to put you in this spot.

@cceanv That's not what the ruling said. I'm tired of CCEA twisting facts. Whoever is in control of the CCEA Twitter account probably needs to change. Although we are “just teachers” we are extremely educated and we will look up the facts from both sides.

@Lshuseman @cceanv I noticed that too. I like CCSD’s proposal better than CCEA’s by far. It takes into account 77% of us who haven't gotten the proper pay raises. I'm growing more tired of CCEA.

@cceanv Some CA transplant teachers are making $93k with 4 years experience. HR says only 22% of teachers fall in this category. CCSD proposed a table making pay more equitable for all, but that the union denied this. I am wondering what the union’s rationale for this might be.

@cceanv JV has not explained why our health trust was a mess for years and teachers did not get the raises they deserved 2 superintendents ago. That’s on Vellardita, not Jara. Where is his accountability?

@cceanv This just looks like a bunch of crazy people outside screaming shame. This doesn't look like people working to improve the quality of life for teachers. Over 10 years ago JV took that away from us. We should be at his doorstep. Shame!

@cceanv This is expected after a pandemic. What you need to worry about is why teachers experienced pay freezes for at least 5 years before Jara and we have never recovered. Is it because CCEA mismanaged money with the health trust? JV is a theif. Stop focusing on Jara. Focus on JV.

We can see what is happening in our schools under Jara’s leadership—and it’s nothing short of alarming.
