Pittsburgh City Council prohibited cooperation w/ ICE yesterday.
I talked to four city police officers today. ALL said this impacts them zero. They have cooperated with ICE and will continue to.
One said: "They don't have the balls to punish an officer for keeping people safe."

This is what #Pittsburgh city council is worried about while our city has major issues. They raise our taxes and then go ahead and do a "Will of Council" that passed unanimously to "urge" Governor Shapiro to legalize cannibas during the 2026 legislative season.
It already smells like marijuana all throughout downtown. I can smell it at every red light while sitting in my car with the windows up in many parts of the city. There is already medical Marijuana legal for patients and veterans.
Again, this is what they do during council meetings when the rest of the world is working and not paying attention. We have bigger fish to fry in the city and in the commonwealth of #Pennsylvania and ever council member signed off on this. 🤡

50 contractor trucks will join 35 from Public Works to continue plowing following the major storm. Front loaders will take snow from corners to be hauled away. Please don’t park near corners or in a business districts. Please check on neighbors as the bitter cold takes hold.

I get that many Americans are having a rough go. But far too many do themselves no favors w crazy consumerism, inability to budget, an iPhone 51, buying Zyns each day, DoorDash, living on credit & spending above means.
Many could learn lessons from their (great) grandparents

I proudly stand with the nearly 1000 nurses at @UPMC Magee Hospital in Pittsburgh in their fight for patient care and safe staffing.
Rather than put nurses and patients first, UPMC has run a vicious anti-union campaign.
UPMC must get serious and respect its workers.

You grew up rich and married an even wealthier woman. You’ve had weddings on 3 continents. You own property in LGTBQIA+ murderous Uganda. You make $142,000 a year plus stipends, and your wife works too, meaning you together likely make well over $200,000. No matter which way you cut it: Zohran Mamdani is a rich person. You are actually very rich. Yet you and your wife pay $2,300 a month, as you have bragged, for a nice apartment in Astoria. That should be housing for someone who needs it. We are in the middle of a historic affordability crisis. Millions of low income New Yorkers need this apartment and an apartment like it. Yet your apartment remains rented to rich people who don’t need it. Today, I am calling on you to move out immediately and give your affordable housing back to an unhoused family who need it. Leaders must show moral clarity. Time to move out.
