@JSPhiladelphia @AndrewAJT Literally, my first ever tourney stock in 2017 was taken by a frickin wobble, still wanted to improve but it left me with a weird feeling about what was expectable in terms of cheese at that time

@AndrewAJT The top level is not the only thing that matters. The vast majority of players are not top level. Banning wobbling improved the health of the scene for the majority, and that is an undisputed fact.

The Melee wobbling ban was one of the most dishonest rule changes ever. How many majors did IC’s win in the 2010’s when it was legal? Zero. But top players complained, and got their way thanks to top player privilege. Wobbling ICs lose most top tier MU’s, but got nerfed anyway

@gunzelling @NuCaloric @PiggyKropotkinn You use to be able to back in 2000-2009 when the 3D boom happened in the gaming/film industry in NA, layoffs back then meant the WHOLE studio got shut down, since running studio back then meant renting lots of space for in person work. At last though, those days are gone

@NuCaloric @PiggyKropotkinn People need to get out of this idea that you stay at one job your whole career. The only way to get a significant pay rise is to change employers, this guy won't have any issues with finding good work

Whenever a big gaming company does mass layoffs you'd think they'd be getting rid of more recent lower-level hires but instead it's always the guy who designed Jonesy or the lady who designed the Halo logo

Does anyone have any roles open that I might be able to do? I can animate, draw landscapes, do administrative work, bookkeeping, anything really. I learn quickly. I need help ASAP. Thank you.
