I have inverter in my house but I use it like someone suffering from poverty. Off one appliance for the other. Off the inverter to use rechargeable fan overnight. This is not life, national grid has to work. We need to stop coming up with useless temporary solutions!

On this electricity issue in Nigeria, I will be realistic again. Nigeria will not see steady power in at least 10 years. normally should be at least 15 years It is unfixable under a decade. Even Albert Einstein with the execution of Elon Musk will not do it under 10 years. Its a harsh truth Don't argue this with your emotions and ideal plans, argue with data. if you don't even know where NBET stands in the chain, you cannot make an argument here, pass. So is solar the solution for Nigeria? YES Is solar realistic for mass adoption? NO. Because of cost. The solution to this may be - The govt. removing any charge, tax, levy, etc on anything relating to panels and batteries. - Startups launching solar farms and buyback businesses - Govt. funding battery and storage research that will lead to low cost in that regard - One day national flogging of all Nepa officials with koboko and swearing for them if need be If you understand the energy industry in Nigeria, you will know that Nepa or whatever you know them as now, is not giving you steady supply for a lonnnnnnnngggg time

Cardoso has just led the Central Bank of Nigeria to global recognition. Our CBN is now the best in the world. Cardoso stands out as one of the best appointments so far in this admin. If Emefiele had done 1/10 of what Yemi is doing, things would have been more easier today.

This was our reality in Nigeria before Asiwaju Bola Tinubu became President of this great nation. When this photo was taken, our country was the largest importer of petrol in Africa. And it did not end there. Our government was paying subsidies to importers, not refiners, who were importing petroleum at astronomical levels. And even with that, Nigerians were still sleeping in petrol stations because the subsidised imported fuel meant for Nigerians was being smuggled to neighbouring nations. Now, I want to pose a challenge to you reading this. If in the last three years of President Bola Tinubu, you have ever slept at a petrol station or queued for fuel for long hours, because of fuel scarcity, please signify in the comment section and name the date and place. The fact is that Nigeria, under Tinubu, has gone from being the largest importer of petrol in Africa in 2023 to being the largest exporter of petroleum products in West Africa in 2026! And President Tinubu's policies have created this reality. We are not where we should be. Progress comes over time, not overnight. Yet, we are not where we once were. Our country is progressing. Yes, petrol prices have gone up recently, but that is a global challenge caused by the Middle East crisis, not by any misgovernance in Nigeria, as Peter Obi wants you to believe! Omoh 😂 the nonsense you people tweet de muzz me. Inverter voltage is so stable that anything it can power will work efficiently. I have a Russel hobbs microwave that i thought was bad until i used it with solar. Grid supply 160-190v (20 mins microwave is not hot) Inverter 230v (30 secs and water is hot) Fridge freezes now, AC works better, everything is just performing better. Electricity is Electricity. Gas, wind, water, sun = sources of electricity

@bigbrovar See Nigerian Grid
