Email Ethics Commissioner Request To Open Investigation of Minister Anita Anand On Conflict of Interest and Breach of Oath: Failure To Uphold Canadian Sovereignty in the Assassination of Shaheed Nijjar email2canada.ca SFJ: Anand’s Silence Is a “License to Kill” Pro-Khalistan Sikhs in Canada SFJ Files Request to Investigate Minister Anita Anand for Conflict of Interest and Breach of Oath The secessionist group Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) has filed a formal Request for Investigation with the Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner against Foreign Minister Anita Anand, accusing her of breaching her oath of office and creating a conflict of interest by placing trade and diplomatic ties with India above the safety and sovereignty of Canadians. SFJ General Counsel Gurpatwant Singh Pannun stated that “Anand’s silence on India’s Hindutva-driven transnational violence is being perceived globally as a “License to Kill” pro-Khalistan Sikhs in Canada”. As part of the campaign, SFJ has launched a national Email Action Platform – Email2Canada.ca – enabling Canadians to email the Ethics Commissioner directly demanding accountability for Minister Anand’s inaction in the face of foreign-state-sponsored killings. Despite the U.S. Department of Justice filing sworn evidence in United States v. Nikhil Gupta (23-cr-289, S.D.N.Y.) naming Indian intelligence officer Vikash Yadav as the organizer of Shaheed Hardeep Singh Nijjar’s assassination, Minister Anand proceeded to promote trade and strategic cooperation with India, issuing no public demand for accountability or justice. “When a Canadian Minister stays silent while a foreign state runs death squads on our soil, that silence becomes complicity,” said SFJ General Counsel Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. “Anand’s silence tells Modi’s R&AW assassins they can target pro-Khalistan Sikhs in Canada without consequence.” SFJ’s Request for Investigation cites sections 2, 4, 6, 7, 9 and 21 of the Conflict of Interest Act and urges the Commissioner to determine whether Minister Anand’s omissions constitute a breach or appearance of conflict that undermines her duty to uphold Canada’s Constitution and sovereignty. In a separate action, SFJ has issued an ultimatum to Indian High Commissioner Dinesh Patnaik to “Go Back or Faceoff” and announced that pro-Khalistan Sikhs will hold a 12-hour picket outside Patnaik’s Ottawa residence on October 18, protesting India’s espionage operations and recruitment of Canadians for surveillance activities under the guise of “cultural events.”

“I respectfully declined, because I’d rather take India’s bullet than stop campaigning for the Khalistan referendum.” Gosal, who is target of India’s latest assassination plot in Canada. cbc.ca/news/politics/…
