I have waited years for someone to challenge this nonsense phrase on mainstream media. An indictment of the liberal PEP media that it took Tucker Carlson to do it. And he undeniably did it well.

Key here in this part of the interview is not just how Carlson pushes back against the propaganda of “Israel has the right to exist” but that we clearly get his worldview and thus political project: to continue to push the supremacy of “western civilization” — Israel is the aberration not the landing point, not even the symptom. He says here that “eastern civilization” believes in collective punishment — as though collective punishment of the global south and the global working class doesn’t underpin the history of western civilization of over the last few hundred years. Nevertheless, the dam is broken.

“In order to assassinate Ali Larijani, Israeli terrorist regime killed more than 500 people…” And not a single one of those souls has been mentioned in English-language media.

There might not be a better single illustration of the moral and intellectual collapse of the Western liberal intelligentsia than this interview.

This is the key point. Carlson is going viral and winning these encounters because his opponents are all stuck on scripts and talking points and have never been challenged on them, even mildly. This is part of a much bigger story of American media decline and collapse.

This is a reprehensible post for X to allow, targeting @s_m_marandi and putting a bounty on him. It is also a "Paid partnership." Imagine the outcry if a pro-Palestinian or pro-Iranian group did this with Israelis or Americans. Criminal charges would be filed.
