For those who have replied asking “did you watch the game? Woltemade was not No.10” Woltemade WAS No.10! Eddie Howe spoke afterwards about using him as a 10 & changing the shape I mean, wasn’t this obvious just by watching the game?

I’m going to say it now so we are all clear. I’m not calling for Eddie Howe to be sacked because he remains the best manager for the job and has over achieved for four years. My view hasn’t changed on that. Yes this is difficult and he’s under huge pressure now but he deserves a chance to rebuild the team in the summer and go again. And I’m very confident he will bring more success in the future. Thanks for your time. Nobody will get me to change my mind. #nufc

If you are part of the Howe out brigade you need to be very careful what you wish for. The club isn’t going to sack him but if he feels like he isn’t wanted there is a real possibility he will just walk away, either now, or in the summer #nufc

All the talk of an agent offering Tonali to Arsenal needs to come with the caveat that it doesn’t appear to have been his agent. A bit of confusion at the Arsenal end perhaps but Newcastle clear. Nothing in it. Arsenal made no contact club to club. #nufc
