@GregKable Renault Clio is the same car since 2012 as the current VW Golf got design tweaks on top of the MK7 generation launched in 2012 as well, both now 14 years old. Not surprisingly the Tesla Model S did last 14 years too. Guess manufacturing got expensive in the last decade. 🤔

@DeryaTR_ @elonmusk Compared to whom? The average American that barely knows how to drive on stick? 🤔 It's the opposite, those with FSD will pay higher insurance because the system is flawed, many crashes involving Tesla Robotaxi, Waymo & Cruise to prove. Those who know how to drive will pay less.

The best car in 100 years. It changed the game by being the best car, period. It moved the world towards EV’s at scale and did more for the environment than any other product of any kind (until the Model 3 and Y came out). Nice work, Bro.

@leisurevirus @edmunds No, the reasoning is different. The average fleet age in the US is 12 years old, meaning most people are driving/buying 12 years old used cars so they have to last for the next buyer... 🤔

@1MonkeyDriver @edmunds You are right buddy! At the rip off prices you are paying for a rip off GM or Stellantis product you NEED the car to last 10 years as you are still trying to pay off the mortgage on those things. At 35k for one of these, the “suckers” are probably onto their 3rd generation 🤣

Anybody in the jury who voted the Mazda 6e as best design needs a long hard look at themselves. I could just about accept the CX-6e getting it, it looks like its own design, but the 6e is such an average reskin of a Deepal SL03 with none of the drama and energy of a real Mazda.
