In Congress, he’s held up the MAGA agenda over and over again to serve himself 6. President Trump calls him “3 AM Chip” because Chip would often call, telling the President he can’t support MAGA legislation I don’t ever like calling someone a liar. It’s a harsh word. I’m certainly not calling Chip Roy a liar. However, in the last few weeks of the campaign for AG, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲. Let’s chalk it up to Chip’s failed memory. I simply want to set the record straight. If you support President Trump, don’t be fooled. Chip is not and has never been for MAGA or for President Trump. Thune doesn't care if he gets booted. His mission is to thwart Trump in every way he can, and for that he will be greatly rewarded. If it's a suicide mission for him, then so be it. Acting AG Todd Blanche has indicted an assistant US attorney in southern Florida who reportedly worked with Special Counsel Jack Smith in the documents case. Judge Aileen Cannon essentially placed Volume II of Smith's report on the case under seal, forbidding anyone at DOJ or any government agency from sharing the report. Why? Because she had dismissed the document indictment in July 2024 after concluding Smith's appointment was unconstitutional. But is appears this prosecutor, Carmen Lineberger, stole the report and tried to conceal what she did. A grand jury in Fort Pierce--the hive of the DOJ's grand conspiracy investigation--indicted Lineberger on four counts. Bigger question: who was she planning to leak the report to? Not like she stole it as a souvenir.

I've heard the argument made that Lincoln didn't go far enough. They say Lincoln should have absolutely freed the slaves, but he should have gone further and sent them back to their homelands after he freed them.
