We shouldn't shame folks, but also... we can't wait till September of 7th grade to blame the teacher when the child has been reading on a 4th grade level for 3 years!

charge it to my 9H stellium but this pissed me off. at what point does the metric they use to MEASURE children’s knowledge become faulty? public primary school is not meant to indulge students curiosity for knowledge. it’s meant to tell them what they should and shouldn’t know

@Southside_Gunn According to national data 9/10 parents think their child is at or above grade level in reading and math (regardless of race, income, education level, geographic location etc) when in reality only 1/3 of students are actually on grade level.
