If you are an adult male and cannot at any given moment bench 225 you are weak. I don’t care if 1% of the population can do it. I’m tired of celebrating mediocrity by comparing yourself to the average guy. Average is fat and weak.

They’re not. If they choose a corporate career, they are earning enough to pay someone else to be do those things. If they have a husband/partner, it’s a joint responsibility and a shared cost, but too many women want the benefits of ‘partnership’ with none of the responsibility. For too long, women have insisted that their husbands/partners do the bulk of the providing, working longer hours than they do but are are incapable of looking after children or household tasks to their satisfaction and ignored the jobs that they do, that women don’t want to do. It’s no wonder men have left them to it and closed their ears to the complaining. The double standards are ingrained.

JUST WONDERING HOW MOMS are supposed to work 9-5, drop the kids off at school at 8 AM, pick them up by 3 PM, stay on top of school activities, meal prep, cook dinner, keep the house clean, do the laundry, run the kids to extracurricular activities, climb the corporate ladder, save sick days for when the kids are sick, be a good friend, daughter, and partner, all while trying to take care of their own body and mental health…

@BowTiedCrow I could in college but can't anymore . I'm 49 and 155lbs, so I'll give myself a pass. I competed in boxing, Muay Thai, mma, and bjj. I still train every day . The bench press does not translate to kicking someone's ass, so I don't think it's any sort of measure of being a man

If he was going to try to bite you, he would have been barking viciously while running up to you. He was coming up to say hi. Just because it's a pit bull doesn't make it evil. Pit bulls get a bad rap because of owners mistreating and failing to train them. They are some of the sweetest, loyal, and protective dog breeds, but very aggressive if abused or mistreated!
