In one week we've gone from Pitt fans whining because there are too many @NDFootball fans living in Pittsburgh. Now, we've got Miami fans crying about the Convicts not getting enough respect in the rankings. The commonality between the two fan bases is jealousy of ND. #GoIrish☘️

Bama lost to FSU, Miami destroyed FSU Miami beat ND, ND was basically tied at half with NC St, Miami destroyed NC St By every metric the committee is supposed to look at…other than “name brand” which they shouldn’t…Miami should be ahead of both teams.

Serious question… should Miami cancel next year’s Notre Dame game if the Irish get the final at-large bid over Miami for the playoffs? Genuinely struggling to see the benefit of keeping a matchup the committee could treat as a net positive for Notre Dame no matter the outcome.

Notre Dame’s playoff chances SHOULD be in bigger trouble than Miami’s. 1) they lost to Miami (a game that was always in Miami’s control with misleading final). 2) They just faced two teams who chose NOT to compete at 100% (Navy and Pitt). They shouldn’t BENEFIT from not having serious conference foes. 3) Good wins matter more than good losses. There really isn’t a strong case for ND. Discuss!
