@ChuksEricE Why are the people shouting and causing more tension?? Nigerians need to be educated on how to react and respond in emergency situations as such...

We had zero expectations from any other nations to support Bafana Bafana. If your country didn’t qualify for the World Cup you have every right to support whoever you like.
BBC News Africa@BBCAfrica

The normal display of African unity in the early stages of a football World Cup was notably absent from social media as many fans from across the continent backed Mexico in the tournament's opening match against South Africa. bbc.in/49S0z94

@flourish007 @Chude_ND1 Everything should not be tied to the government!! This is done by a citizen! And it's quite sad that this kind of thing is happening right in the federal capital! Not in kuje or gwagwalada but in the heart of the city Wuse 2! Same is happening along the Airport junction rd

It's unfortunate that some Nigerians are naturally disruptive in nature, but the government also has a responsibility to build infrastructure with proper safety measures in place. Solar CCTV would be enough to protect streetlights, rail tracks, and drainage covers none of which are safe in Nigeria as things stand.

🚨 BREAKING : Didier Drogba on Africans Supporting Mexico Over South Africa "To see some Africans openly rooting against South Africa simply because of political disagreements is disappointing. Football has always been a game that brings people together, not a battlefield for political divisions. You don't have to support South Africa just because they're African. Everyone has the right to support whichever team they like. But if your reason for supporting Mexico is purely political, then you're missing the spirit of the game. Football should be decided by passion, respect, and what happens on the pitch—not by governments, policies, or political arguments. For ninety minutes, let football be football. As Africans, we can disagree on politics and still celebrate each other's achievements in sport. We don't have to turn every match into a political statement."

Did you know ? Lucky Dube was fatally shot on October 18, 2007, in Johannesburg during a botched carjacking. Court records and testimonies from the 2009 trial confirmed that the assailants did not recognize the reggae icon and mistakenly believed he was a Nigerian 🇳🇬. Because of their h@t€ for Nigerians they killed a world music lagend
