6 As soon as the chief priests saw him, they shouted, “Crucify! Crucify!” 15 They shouted, “Take him away! Crucify him!” “Shall I crucify your king?” Pilate asked “We have no king but Caesar” the chief priests answered 16 Finally Pilate handed him over to be crucified.

@derrico_henrio Your problem is calling it baseball. Its Bananaball. Its the same as the Harlem Globetrotters not being basketball. It entertains kids. Don't like it? Don't watch it. Plenty of others are. Millions on waiting lists to see them play.

Tom is correct, but what do we know right? Parents have extreme FOMO and think that scouts, front office executives, and D1 coaches care about 8U championship rings. Wait till your kid is 13 before taking the travel ball plunge. Then limit him on how many games/tournaments he plays a year, practice as much as you can, get stronger, and most importantly, give him breaks during the year until he is fully ready to play year around, which is, imo, not until he’s a sophomore in highschool. Don’t burn him out. It’s a real thing. Anyone who has played professionally can tell you how many of their teammates quit when they are in highschool because they played too much at younger years.

The reason that eight-year-old travel teams exist is because dad’s think that little Jonny is going to the big leagues in second grade.

Okay so I have come to the conclusion that you can enjoy the Savannah Bananas but it’s important to not think of it as baseball. It’s just a show to be enjoyed. Kind of like how stripping isn’t about dancing. It’s baseball adjacent enjoy it for what it is, just keep it out of real baseball.

being abnormally well-endowed is a curse and i’m tired of it i’m 6’4 and work as a personal trainer. you’d think i’d be comfortable in my own body, but some of my proportions are a constant struggle. i’m extremely well-endowed, not just “above average,” and honestly it’s been more of a burden than anything. it’s big, thick, heavy, and hangs enough that it’s hard not to be aware of it all the time. most people hear that and assume i’m bragging or that it must be some kind of blessing. it really isnt. there’s always a bulge. always. doesn’t really matter what i wear. jeans, shorts, sweats, looser pants, different underwear, sizing up, none of it fixes it. there’s still an outline against the fabric, still that moment where you catch someone glance down and then act like they didn’t. after a while that gets in your head. the physical part is what nobody takes seriously. i’m on my feet all day and constantly aware of it.

@CoachMarcusHill why do you think this is unique to baseball? I see that at all youth basketball/volleyball games as well....I also see this at every professional football and baseball game.

I can’t for the life of me figure out why youth baseball (Little league age, travel ball, high school) is one of the only arenas where people with absolutely no experience have the strongest opinions. Stay with me here. Like adults that know for a fact they never played baseball ever stand at sporting events criticizing coaches or kids for making mistakes while also knowing virtually nothing about the subject matter. It’s the most ignorant, lacking any self awareness things in society. Do you also walk in the kitchen during dinner service and question the executive chef or ask the roofing professionals if they’re replacing your shingles correctly knowing you have no idea what you’re talking about it’s such an insane concept to me. Yelling at children knowing you trip over your own feet mowing your lawn. just be positive and encourage the kids, thank the coaches for doing the job you can’t even come close to doing. Stop embarrassing yourself and your kids.
