Putin gave a Russian military medal "Order of Courage" to US envoy Steve Witkoff to deliver to the grieving American parents of a soldier killed fighting for Moscow against Ukraine. Russia typically awards it only to Russian citizens for acts of valor during emergencies, disasters and war. Michael Gloss was the 21-year-old son of CIA deputy director Juliane Gallina. He had grown increasingly angry with American policies, posting on social media that he was "very angry" with the US and declaring "violence is an integral part of American policy." Gloss went from studying human ecology and working as an environmental activist to signing a military contract with Russia's airborne forces in 2023. He was killed in April 2024 near Bakhmut, Donetsk Oblast. BBC investigations confirmed from open sources that 523 foreign nationals from 28 countries have died fighting for Russia in Ukraine, mostly from Central Asian countries, Nepal and North Korea.

It was terrifying today. Our children, all of us adults- we are trаumatized. We will never forget what we are being forced to live through because of russіa. It hurts beyond words to see what our children are going through. No child should ever have to experience this. This is Vinnytsia today, during a russiаn attаck.

Please share: Discharge Petition #8 is one signature away from forcing a vote on aid to Ukraine and sanctions on russia. Will @RepMcCaul stand by his words of support for Ukraine, or will one of these 200+ others?

@RepDonBacon @tmccarthy001 @RepStenyHoyer I don’t understand why @RepMcCaul won’t sign DP8. He is retiring, he says he supports Ukraine, he says he opposes Putin, & he has nothing to lose but a little chagrin from Trump. What could possible be worth withholding his signature from stopping Putin & saving Ukrainian lives?
