I finally did it. I quit my 9-5. If someone told me 10 years ago that I would open my own business in tech some day, I would probably just laugh it off. And if someone told me that my no-code agency would replace my 9-5 income within the first 6 months of opening the business, I would think they were mad. But I did it. And I couldn’t be happier. It’s scary and exciting at the same time. What does it all mean for me? Well, I am staying with my 9-5 company until the end of March because I stepped in as an interim Head of ERP Functional Consultants a while back. And from April on, I am dedicating all of my energy to expanding my business. I am opening additional capacities for new clients. I am getting Notion and Make certified. I am expending my toolstack to be able to offer even more value and flexibility to my clients. And after 3 years, I am finally getting my work life balance back in order. Special thanks to everyone who cheered me on, and helped me gain the confidence and means to take this leap: - @theJoshRedd and @BTaks_Notion for being brilliant mentors in everything Notion-related and an endless source of knowledge and inspiration. - @modern_mindset for being an awesome mentor in the area of brand positioning and teaching me how to build an impactful brand that clients can’t get enough of. - the GU community for showing me what’s possible if you just have the guts to go for it. - my Notion and no-code network for being a constant source of inspiration, knowledge and good vibes. - me, myself and I for having the courage and drive that allowed me to take this step.
