@Zero_4 I'm still not clear what @JeremyVineOn5 says "Oh Marina..." after Jenkins comes out with the snide remark. Hmmmm....

Reform’s Andrea Jenkyns after falling apart within seconds of discussing Farage: “Go back to your podcast” Marina Purkiss: “That’s so poor. What’s sort of comment is that? I’ve got a job I’m going back to after this, actually. What are you doing? Just misleading people again?”

Dear @letterboxd, if a film receives c.7,500 votes, of which at least 6,700 were 0.5-star ratings, why would its average rating be "1.3"? You don't need to be a mathematician to know that something isn't right here? #Melania

For those who refuse to hear anything critical about Nigel Farage, this needs saying. Blind loyalty is not strength. It is how people get taken for a ride. Poll after poll shows Reform’s core support comes from people being hit hardest by the policies Farage actually backs. Lower protections. Higher personal costs. Weaker public services. Yet criticism is waved away without engagement, even when the consequences are spelled out in advance. That is not confidence. It is denial. You are not being respected. You are being used. Anger is being fed to you because it stops you asking who benefits. While you are focused on culture wars and scapegoats, the same people who broke the country are on the way back in charge under a new label. You deserve better than slogans. You deserve honesty. And you deserve leaders who do not rely on keeping you angry so you never look at the bill.

Nigel Farage has kindly asked we stop sharing this video of him talking about why we should privatise the NHS 💙 You know what to do!

Not sure if the typically myopic US media has quite clocked what an angry shitstorm President Trump has stirred up abroad with his callous, ungrateful, inaccurate gibe about America’s NATO allies staying away from the Afghan frontline. He’s managed to unite pretty much everybody against him, even his hitherto supporters on the populist right. Even Keir Starmer!

I support most of what Trump has done since he became President again. His methods are often questionable. However, this was effing stupid and dishonours all those who fought and died in Afghanistan, including Americans. Their troops must agree that this was a very stupid thing to say. He should apologise.

Not he hasn't, Andrew. Most UK vets have seen too much to be offended by, or enraged by, a few clumsy remarks by Trump. They have the wisdom to know he wasn't trying to insult and belittle them. He was making the point the Americans paid the biggest price in blood and treasure. Vets are used to the Yanks claiming they won the wars. It may irritate them, but they know without the Americans, the resources they provided, and the great sacrifices of their young men, the wars could easily have been lost. 99% of the whipped up anger about what Trump said emanates from people who never came close to serving their country in the armed forces, but who have jumped on his words to promote their own political agendas.

@afneil We're so scared. Maybe your simping politicians should put out a strongly worded statement. The truth is, without the US, Europe would be learning Mandarin or Russian by now. He told them not to rely on Russian oil and look what happened. Stay cold my friend.
