Yesterday my son got married.
I found out from a photo on Facebook.
I wasn’t invited.
I wasn’t told.
I stared at the picture for 20 minutes.
Him in a suit. Her in white.
Everyone smiling.
And not one person in that room thought to call me.
I paid $3500/month for 18 years.
Never missed one.
Paid half of their college tuition too.
Worked overtime, side jobs, whatever it took.
My kids are 24 and 26 now.
They tell people I "was never there."
I have no way to call, text, or email them.
Court gave me access.
Their mom made sure that order was just paper.

Gonzalo García is leaving the Bernabéu.
Not because he failed. Because he succeeded, just not in the way that gets you minutes when Kylian Mbappé is your competition.
Six months ago, this kid was the story of Real Madrid's Club World Cup. The homegrown striker who kept scoring when nobody expected him to. For a moment, it felt like a fairytale being written in real time.
But fairytales at Real Madrid have a ceiling. And that ceiling has a name.
So now García is heading to Fulham, reuniting with Álvaro Arbeloa, the coach who first worked with him back in the academy, then again at Castilla, then again in the first team. That's not a coincidence. That's a manager building something around a player he already trusts completely.
Here's the quiet detail that says the most, though. Real Madrid isn't just selling him. They're keeping a buy-back option, structured so they can pull him back if he becomes something special elsewhere.
Read that twice. Madrid believes in him enough to want a way back in. They just don't believe in him enough, yet, to give him the shirt over a global superstar.
That's the strange psychological weight young strikers at superclubs carry. You can be good enough to headline a tournament and still not be good enough to start on a Tuesday. The talent was never really in question. The timing was.
Now García gets what every young player secretly needs more than a famous badge: to be first choice for someone who picked him on purpose.

🚨 Barcelona Had a Gem in Rashford and Let Him Slip away…
🗣Roy Keane:
“Looking back at Marcus Rashford’s time at Barcelona, this isn’t how it should have ended.
The perfect finish would have been the club paying the €35m to keep him permanently. They had a genuine gem and let him go.
He was one of the most versatile attackers in the squad left wing, right wing, even up front. Players like that are gold. Yet Barcelona were ready to spend over €70m on the likes of Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi when they already had Rashford’s quality right there.
He showed in the Champions League that he can deliver on the biggest stage. He worked hard, adapted to the style, and made it clear how much he wanted that shirt.
Only Barcelona know why they didn’t sign him, but for me he would have been a fantastic long-term addition. The commitment he showed every time he stepped on the pitch is something every club should value.”
