As @POTUS has said — we need one federal AI policy, not a 50 state patchwork. This gets us there.

an 84-year-old Senator just asked AI "are you stealing our data" and the AI said "yes".. on camera.. on a podcast.. to a sitting US politician
Bernie Sanders sat down with Claude AI and asked it straight up about mass data collection.. and Claude told him everything.. companies tracking your browsing history.. your location.. your purchases.. selling it for targeted ads.. using dynamic pricing so two people see different prices for the same product.. and running political microtargeting so sophisticated it's fragmenting shared reality
then Bernie asked about a moratorium on data centers.. and Claude pushed back.. said no.. and Bernie just moved past it like it didn't happen
he used AI to validate what he already believed.. then ignored it the second it disagreed.. which is literally the manipulation problem he went on the podcast to warn you about
and this is the part that should keep you up tonight..
this is the same week Jensen Huang told tech CEOs to "stop scaring people about AI".. while the AI itself is on a podcast telling a Senator "yeah they should be scared"
the most honest conversation about AI in 2026 was between a Senator and the thing he's trying to regulate.. and even that couldn't stay honest for more than 3 minutes

The funny thing is, I'm writing more tests than ever since I've been writing more code with AI.
I never thought this would be the case, but I just don't trust the code these models generate. Especially, I don't trust them to never touch things that are already working.
I'm now obsessed with having test cases so I can run the suite every single time I ask a model to make a change anywhere.

This guy is dangerous for AI progress. I’m starting to see him as one of the biggest anti AI, decel voices right now. Someone needs to teach him about the concept of the Singularity and post ASI abundance.
AI won’t create the problems he fears, it will solve them. Poverty, pollution, unequal access to education etc.
With sufficiently advanced AI, they become solvable.
Slowing this down doesn’t make us safer, it just delays a better world for billions of people.

That helps recover shallow-layer signals that standard residual stacking tends to dilute, improving performance with only a small extra compute cost.
Similar idea to Kimi’s Attention Residuals, but MoDA modifies the attention module itself, while AttnRes changes the residual/depth aggregation path.
