@FulhamTransfer @TheiPaperSport So many excellent options available, I think the club has the leverage today (it won’t in 6 weeks as these options will be off the board).
Not sure I want him to stay, club should give him a 24h deadline and if it’s not a yes appoint his replacement and move on.

Inside Fulham’s battle to keep hold of Marco Silva
But the Cottagers have contingency plans in place if he decides against signing a new deal. @TheiPaperSport

@FulhamTransfer @stevenffc123 Bobb isn’t in the same stratosphere as Kevin and Chuk, at least not yet.
Wilson is great but doing FFC a favour not signing that gigantic contract. All of these 3 are younger and more talented, and should play next season. Sess can step in if there’s an injury.
English

Big miss, he's unpredictable & makes things happen albeit a bit raw.
Chuk would do the same if played on his favoured side as would Bobb. Big imbalance at the moment with 3 very good RW & no LW. For me we had the chance today to play ESR LW, Wilson 10 & Chuk RW.
But Silva doesn't seem to deviate from what he knows.
English

@AmbroseBarnaby @FulhamTransfer It’s tangible damage to this season and next.
Can’t make transfer plans when u don’t know who’s the coach.
Players don’t play for managers who aren’t committed.
Total shithousery towards the club, the players & fans.
Results on the field speak to it, fans numb and ambivalent.
English

@FulhamTransfer Well in my personal opinion. He’s not exactly entered him self in recent months to make a big club take that chance so it’s a risky approach for him and for us it’s just an anxiety inducing wait
English

This feeling among the fan base imo is all stemming from the uncertainty around Silva.
How can he think he's doing the right thing by not giving any clarity 🤷🏻♂️
At this point if he's still undecided then the board needs to make that decision for him.

@FulhamTransfer @AmbroseBarnaby No responsible management waits for the coach to inform them in the summer if he’s staying.
Alternatives need to be ready already, including agreements with replacements agents.
There are unemployed coaches who aren’t worse than Silva, who will coach next season. Get one&moveon
English

@AmbroseBarnaby He's waiting till the season ends to decide. 🤷🏻♂️

@Fulham_Focus @sammydymond @dylanchavasse @Serbiantennis77 Typical dynamic when the players don’t know if the coach will coach them next season.
Silva is a FFC hall of famer, has built a robust foundation, and deserves all the accolades in the world.
It is also time to move on, he isn’t committed and the players checked out on him.

@ColBennettH4 He’s great and a game changer. don’t understand why this is even a discussion
English

@CottageTactico Agreed.
Sadly Berge has been a disappointment (King is intense and Lukic>Berge).
In parallel with the exception of Iwobi (whose IQ is off the charts) there is zero movement without the ball on offense too many times.
English

@1sat1c I agree there’s sometimes a lack of risk taking and freedom from some of those players but I was specifically talking about OOP. There’s been a notable drop off in our physical intensity off the ball and that’s at least partly personnel?
English

It’s maybe an odd thing to pick up on after 3 goalless games. But I’m increasingly of the view #FFC have become too passive out of possession since the departure of Andreas and that this hurts in attack as much as anywhere else

The Cottage Tactico@CottageTactico
What has happened to the Fulham press? 🤔 This season we have forced our opponents into THE FEWEST dangerous losses of possession in the PL What is that all about? Why does this OOP trend hurt us in attack? And could it matter in #FULBUR? New analysis (finally!) 👇🧵 1/11
English

@MilanPosts @AntoVitiello @CorSport Silva is killing his creativity. Same old story. So many at Fulham start well then get played in wrong positions or systems or ‘coached and managed’ into not playing their authentic game and they drop off. Chuck, king, ESR, Sess, even Bassey.
English

📑 @AntoVitiello in @CorSport this morning: Chukwueze’s situation at Fulham is still open but could bring the biggest return: the English club has a €28 million option (including bonuses). His performances have been inconsistent, and Fulham will need to decide, while the player himself is not fully convinced about staying in the Premier League.

English

@TGFulham55 @FulhamFC Spot on.
Creativity is being choked out of the players in this system.
It’s a great system for talent deficient teams to overachieve (FFC 22-24’).
It’s a bad system for teams with talent as they will under achieve (FFC 25-26’).
English

I feel for Bobb! Must be having doubts about his decision to join @FulhamFC Silva is killing him!! You have to give a player like that the freedom to play and use their technical qualities! Instead, he’s chained, suffocated and isolated and for the record, he’s not the only one!
English

@1966MJG There is no reaction because the players don’t know who the coach will be next season.
It’s a known phenomenon in sports and why teams extend coaches by 1 year even when they aren’t sure they will finish the season. B/c a lame duck coach doesn’t get the players ear.

@ConnorHugh26 Iwobi aside there is zero movement without the ball from the other 9. That’s why zero goals, every time.
English

@ItsIbzFFC Nice player but limited at this stage. He’s Pereira without the goal contributions.
Thats the 2026 reality.
Sadly FFC played better with Cairney, and ESR is superior to them both.
English

@jackellyffc How many times will this team concede immediately after subbing players? Laughable now.
Offside is lucky. The problem is chronic.
Leno retired and forgot to tell us.
English

No goal, offside. Complete and utter let off. #FFC
Jack Kelly@jackellyffc
Conceding immediately after making subs, just like Everton at home. It's ridiculous. VAR checking for offside. #FFC

English

@jackellyffc Ask Marco about the last 2 games. Rested starters, played lineups that never played together and lost both to inferior teams, one of them a knockout game away from home.
The arrogance of starting Reed and Cairny in a knockout game is unbelievable.
