@DevinOlsenn That’s it exactly. Drove from Agoura Hills to Montecito yesterday in terrible traffic. Didn’t touch the wheel and accepted the reality without stress. Returned in the evening at 70 mph no strain no pain.

Running into a wall of traffic like this used to completely ruin my day. Now that I use FSD it genuinely doesn’t phase me - the car handles all the driving while I get to relax and listen to a podcast or jam to some music.

These are the actual quotes: “He works us all under the table.” “I can’t even keep up with him.” “I never, ever, ever felt like I saw anything that was decline.” These weren’t random supporters. These were people who rode Air Force One with him. People who walked into the Oval Office and sat across the desk. Not one of them expressed a single concern on camera. Then came the debate. Within days, the same party that spent two years calling him the most accomplished president of their lifetime removed him from the ticket. Not one person who said those things has been asked publicly to explain the difference between what they told America and what they knew. Nobody has answered that question yet.

@DevinOlsenn If Tesla were to advertise sales would double and maybe triple. There has to be some reason that Elon Musk doesn’t want to do advertising.

This video is a double edged sword for me. On one hand I love that she is enjoying her Tesla. On the other hand - it’s a bit concerning that someone who has owned a Tesla for four months had NO idea the car would plan your road trip for you with supercharging stops and show things like capacity at the supercharger. Tesla really needs to put together a short 60 second commercial with all of the things the car can do for you and blast it all over the tv/internet. I was hoping the Tesla Vision contest from last year would result in some good content that Tesla would have then promoted online to help educate people - but that hasn’t happened I don’t think. x.com/devinolsenn/st…

FSD V14.2 merges onto the highway alongside heavy traffic, with hardly any distance to merge between on-ramp and next interchange. Normally a tense moment for human drivers, looking back-and-forth aggressively trying to sneak in before missing it; a “turn the music down and lock in” moment. I barely even noticed while chatting with my girlfriend.

I’m a few years younger, but definitely a senior. My car took me to church this morning and home and later will take me from LA County to see my grandson play in his college Orchestra in Santa Barbara. Then onto dinner and then back home and I will probably not touch the wheel once.

Tesla Full Self-Driving means freedom for the elderly and safer streets for everyone else. This Model Y took a 93-year-old from home, to church, and then to her son’s house, giving her back a freedom that her age would make her dependent on others for.
