I’m sharing this for educational purposes in case it helps some newer folks. I bought $QQQ Sunday evening at 603. Naturally many think here at 640 it must be time to sell or short. I mean look at the size of the move. Or 🛑 guessing and look at facts. Markets rarely make a new high after months of going nowhere only to crap out. History doesn’t tell us the future but it often gives us data and probabilities. Earnings are the lifeblood of stocks and half of the market leaders are saying things like sold out through 2028. Multiples which used to be more important are quite reasonable in many names that make up the $QQQs . Names like $AMZN that have lagged the market for 5 years have changed character. While many scream about Trump and Iran I’m looking under the hood and it’s a far more positive story. That said would I first enter names now ? God no but find those bullish stocks & sectors, look for those pullbacks into the MA’s and you will find opportunity. Yesterday as optical names were soft and $LITE traded down for its 4th or 5th day we went long. I thought it needed a rest but once it was done napping the same leader would lead again. I foresee a lot of this going forward in several sectors. Perhaps the indices are due some chop and a slight pullback but waiting for the big crash might be the wrong move here

Can any seasoned traders out there explain to us rookies what the heck is going on with the market? I've been trading for under 2 years but I've put a lot of time into education and very conservative positions... I tuly feel like I know absolutely nothing!

$SPY Price closed at the last fib resistance. I never thought we would get here before a move down to 660 at least but here we are. I think this resistance will hold, even if price wicks above it or even close, it needs to hold above it for a couple of trading days to prove reliable. If that happens then the next fib level is above 700. What I’m expecting to see now is a move back to the 670s, anywhere in the 670s, whether it’s 679 or 670. That could be enough to fill the vix gap at 25. I’ll cash out of all shorts there, especially around 672-670 and see what happens then decide. This move alone should put me back green on the month. Once we get that move, price can either hold the support, make a higher low around there and go for a new all time high, or it can hold the support, bounce, reject to make a lower high and then go down further towards 660s, 650s, 640s or even make a new low in the 620s. In both cases, bull and bear, a pullback is due now. I just can’t see price shooting straight above 700 after the massive run up we had. That’s not how it works. I’m basically neutral now, because it’s 50/50 between the two. I’m just shorting to the 670s then I’ll see which side has strength and I’ll be on with them.

My daughter was socially transitioned at school through the SEL program. It took me years to get her completely out of that cult. When this started 5 yrs ago, there was no help for me. So I created the program that I needed to free her. Last Saturday, she was given a dozen awards for her work in the JROTC program. She’s got scholarships to college. She’s got a job. She’s in control of her own life. She is free. We still have problems. But they’re normal problems. Not some imaginary identity bs. We disagree, we talk, we accept each other’s opinions. We work through our differences TOGETHER with boundaries, respect, and understanding. I’d love it if she’d just do everything I say, but then she wouldn’t be herself. I can hardly blame her. She comes by her fierce and steadfast independence honestly. She is, after all, her mother’s savage daughter. And I love who she’s become. The trans cult hates that. They try to separate families. They use any advantage or disadvantage to ruin the relationships between parents and their children. They tried to destroy us…. they failed.
